on June 1st, i committed to taking a class on peloton at least once a day, every day for the month. inspired by watching the iron cowboy complete 101 ironman distance triathlons in 101 days, i committed to 100 consecutive days of exercise. as i start this blog to document writing once a day for the next 100 days, i'm at 133.
as i approached the 100th consecutive day of exercise tracked through the peloton app, i became interested in finding something else to do for 100 days more. i enjoyed the self challenge, the commitment and the feeling. it felt good and i feel better. after moving my body, moving my mind was the obvious choice.
i haven't set any requirements for the next 100 days - theme, topic, length - just the goal of taking the time to write. between now and january 20 2022 i should have a lot to work with - friends, family, halloween, the holiday season - thanksgiving, christmas, new years, entering my 40s and all of that life stuff sprinkled throughout.
